The software needs for a successful installation and operation the .Net Framework 4.5 which is included by default in Windows 8. For windows 10 and more, you may probably need to enable it through "Turn Windows Features on or off" in the control panel. When the software is first started, it is set to English by default, otherwise it is set to French if that is the laptop language. The software menu at the section Options offers the possibility to change from English to French language.

The first and last name of the purchaser of a Teacher, Publisher, or Coach license is required during installation of the license and is visible at all times but cannot be modified unless the software is uninstalled and then reinstalled. This information is used to identify the licensee and more specifically as the author in watermark on the playing surface of an animation shared via the public or private sharing option at the software menu.

A 16-digit and/or letter identification number chosen by the purchaser of a Teacher, Publisher or Coach license is required during installation of the license and then hidden behind stars and cannot be modified unless the software is uninstalled and then reinstalled. This information is embedded in an animation file to prohibit access to other licensees in the event of theft or loss, to allow viewing only by other licensees in the case of public sharing, and to allow access to users of the Coach's private network. Loss, theft, or replacement of the computer requires the installation of software and license with the same identification number on another computer to regain access to the animation files. The licensee is responsible for forgetting or disclosing their identification number.

A few minutes after installation are also required to adjust the animation speed. The software menu at the section Options offers the possibility to see if the laptop is too slow or too fast for perfect synchronization of speed, time and distance traveled in tactical animations.

Our test in a laptop indicate regarding the maximum speed set via the software menu, that a value of 42 allows a player to complete a lap of the rink in 13.5 seconds like the record in hockey.

1. Compare your software version in its menu and in the About section versus the one displayed on the website.
2. The first 4 digits correspond to the version and the following 4 digits to the update.
3. If the versions are identical, the new update is compatible with your license and the software downloadable for free.
4. Installation requires uninstalling the software with the old update first.
5. No need of identification to regain access to your animation files.

Uninstalling software and related files from computer owned by the assistant or player when he leaves the team does not prevent a Windows restauration process therefore the possibility again to produce, view and also video capture with always the Coach licensee's name as a watermark on the playing surface. In the case of strategic animations, it is recommended that the computers be owned by the Coach licensee with no need of uninstalling.

The software works independently of the internet for use anywhere: bus, train, airplane, and at any time.

The file sharing can be done with USB Key and/or the desired email service, with restritced loading and viewing without using cloud services by using the public or private sharing feature in the software menu.
